Signs of Spring

Spring is on its way! Sure, this past week has been dreary, drizzly, and downright cold, but on our walk last weekend we spotted some clear signs that warmer temperatures are just around the corner…

The cherry tree in our backyard has started to bloom!

The bees are out of hibernation and busy collecting pollen.

Our shadows!  Yes, proof that the sun was shining… nevermind the fact that we are still bundled up in layers.

Our neighborhood cats were out from their cold weather hiding places.

Even our neighbor’s jammies were bright and springy!

We had a lovely walk around the neighborhood, enjoying the fresh air and sunshine. Oh Vitamin D, how we’ve missed you!And on that note, we’re off to enjoy another walk!  I cannot wait until spring is officially here so we can spend more time outside in the sun.
