Furniture: Assembled!

Our IKEA furniture was delivered yesterday (well, most of it… they delivered the forgotten pieces this morning), and assembled this evening! We LOVE it and now that we have an idea of each piece’s scale and fit in our house we can venture back to IKEA (hooray?) and pick up a few of the soft effects and smaller furniture pieces, such as rugs and coffee tables. One step closer to making our house a cozy home=).

We even had a delicious spaghetti dinner at our new dining table!

The IKEA assembly crew was kind enough to clean up after themselves- something most tradesmen don’t seem to do overseas- so that was wonderful. We left all of the cardboard packaging outside and I could hear the rustling sounds of it all being drug away in under 10 minutes… one man’s trash, as they say =).
