Halloween 2016

We’ve enjoyed another fabulous Halloween! The rain held off and we had such a wonderful time trick-or-treating. Isla the squirrel filled her little acorn bag with so much candy she could hardly carry it. She’s already asking when we get to go trick-or-treating again! Happy Halloween!!!

This year we have enjoyed many walks around our neighborhood park. The trees there are home to a bunch of spunky squirrels. Isla loves to watch them scamper around, and is always trying to convince them to come to her, so we are not at all surprised that they inspired her Halloween costume. She is such a little animal lover! My aunt and I had the best time making the costume, and seeing Isla dressed up and pretending to be a little squirrel is so fun! I hand sewed a little acorn treat bag for her to carry while trick-or treating.
